Definitely different! I haven't taken much time to sketch and doodle these past few years but I'm really enjoying the chance to be loose and expressive. It's refreshing after working on a very technical commission

I don't like using references in my sketch journal, actually. I use references for commissions all the time so it's really nice to break away from that and just draw what's in my head.

Ahh yeah I see what you mean.  You should post sketch journals more often, they have a looser relaxed quality that's different from your usual commissions

Thank you! I'm planning to, actually! I have a few more ready to share and I'm doing pretty good about regularly drawing in my sketch journal. It's very freeing and relaxing and I'm thrilled you like seeing them!
