A few months ago my BF and I started watching Dragonball from the beginning. I'd read most of the comics up until Piccolo Daimao (that's when my local comic shop closed and I had nowhere to get individual issues anymore), but forgot a lot since then. Watching it reminded me of how much I loved Yamcha when I was a kid in High School, so I decided to have a go at making a more realistic Yamcha in 3D. I put him on the back burner for a while as I couldn't find a hair model for him, but decided just to cobble a few together that looked about right and paint the details in post since I love painting hair anyway. It's not a terribly exciting or highly detailed render, just Yamcha off training by himself in the wilderness as usual.
