I have found that getting a nice amount of texture through a head of hair is as important as texturing and detailing the face in general

Talent = Aptitude + lots of hard work.
Many have aptitude; some more than others. But those that put in the many hours of study, practice, and hard work develop their aptitude into a talent, and surpass others unwilling or unable to put in the effort.
