I like your Turneresque use of light - that's definitely not easy, but carried out well, it adds a magnificent atmosphere to the setting.

That's an excellent piece as well!
Many have tried (and failed) to copy Turner's light - it's like trying to copy a violin by Stradivari. One thing I like about your piece is, that it seems inspired by a master without an attempt to copy him. Besides being wonderful to look at, it shows an understanding of art and art history combined with technical skill, awareness, and the artist's presence in the setting. Brava!
Fun fact: Did you know, that Turner grew a fingernail very long so that he could scratch the yellow surfaces in order to create the almost blinding white light...?
N.B.Everyone should do themselves the favour of seeing some of Turner's works irl at least once.
