This piece was inspired by a music video by Jaiden Animations , called "Empty" . It's a really cool song that basically is about this youtuber's struggle with eating disorder she had in the past. By the way you should check out Jaiden's channel, it's pretty amazing and hilarious.

Honestly, that song touched me super hard. I've had issues with eating through my whole life, I've always been skinny and underweight. I am very picky in my eating, and I don't want to try any new foods just like that. I do not have anorexia, I am very willing to fix my issue and even get excited whenever I gain a kilogram or two, I even set goals for myself that I try to achieve. But...this song still speaks to me. It scares me to think that someday, a voice in my head might tell me that..I have to starve myself to be happy. I definitely do not want that...

If you are struggling with eating disorder, don't try to fix it all by yourself. You need to get help, don't be afraid of asking help from your family, friends, or even professionals. They can help you, do not hide it, be open about it. You will be much happier once you get help.
