gOOD ENOUGH

I bumped his age up (by four years woah) because of some cool new events that happened, but he’s basically the same besides that. :> On his markings pose, everything's little thicker than it should be. Carbon’s supposed to be underweight, so he should be pretty damn skinny. it is old art but I needed to get sOMETHING UP
I basically rewrote everything to make it more compact, informative, and simply better. It is complete
Oh, and I threw names on his parents only because it would be easier, especially considering how they’re both guys… I’m not going to make either a reference sheet, I just needed something better than Father #1 and Father #2 :’D sry

Besides his misplaced bravery, he’s a polite and bubbly character who is expressive and friendly. He can be impulsive, and is prone to mild irritation and bouts of uneasiness. He also gets nervous when presented with unwelcoming conversation or attitude. But he will speak his mind if the situation calls for it, and is overall a positive person to be around.

History:

Carbon was largely bullied all throughout school, and it had a heavy impact on him. His father Wrench introduced the show Speed Racer to Carbon as an attempt to cheer him up, and he latched on to it as though it was the only reliable thing in his life. Because of his interest in the show, his parents tested the waters with driving, and when he excelled, they introduced him to racing.
He eventually started competing in local competitions and gained first place every time, causing him to develop a cocky attitude. He took his fathers out on a track far beyond his skill level to display his talent and crashed, killing Wrench, permanently disabling Hitchhike, and nearly losing his leg as well. Carbon didn’t get back into the sport until two years later, in his junior year. He learned he had missed the sport and threw himself back into it after he graduated high school, becoming the youngest driver* to race professionally.

Career Details**: Racing could be considered fairly popular. In this newer world, racing has developed to much more interesting levels-- now, instead of just spinning around a track 100 or so times, racers drive on much more exotic tracks, through difficult challenges, and have more sparring type abilities to combat other drivers, though the main focus is still racing. Each car is outfitted with countless safety precautions in the case of a crash or hard collision, and there are always medical crews nearby, though serious accidents can still happen. Because of the interesting upgrades to the sport, racing has become slightly more popular than before, appealing to more audiences with its action, drama, and danger type additions.
