was there any post processing in photoshop? i mean... did you remove the grain in computer? it looks awesome for a hp5@1600asa ;]

no I haven't. I don't mind grain. remember this is not dev'd in Rodinal, I have pushed hp5 to 3200 in ilfotec lc29 and still had a very reasonable amount of grain.

i like grain either especially analog grain. but your results forced me to think where do i make mistakes and i guess that i should try developing high sensitive negatives in something else than rodinal ;] i like rodinal 1:100 30min developing with agfa apx 100. it's a good method i think. but maybe there are other developers that are good with this negative... i tried also rodinal + delta 3200 and that was a mistake ^^ your grain@1600 looks like mine on 400 ;] (haven't got any photos scanned on dA yet though...)

rodinal + apx 100 seems to be a popular combination, but definitely not the least grainy one.
