He showed me this a while back, and after much spazzing with how AWESOME he draws and how he makes Ashiri look so boss, I decided I wanted to try coloring it sometime! I MUST learn to do lines like this. *w* I MUSTTTTT. I WILL. I AM DETERMINED.

I agree with you about his line work. It's very well done.That facial expression really adds to the portrayal of the characters and contributes to the theme nicely and I really like how the pose came out too.
Your coloring work is well done. It's smooth and it's bring a lot of life to the picture. I really like how that shading came out too.

I tend to read boxing manga from time to time, some really good series where the action is strong that you can feel the energy of the fighting from the pages alone. It leaves me inspired to want to do boxing myself, or at least get up and do some jogging (my alternative to boxing as of right now).
I was at work today when I saw this on your tumblr (before seeing it on dA)...and when I caught a glimpse for the first time, I felt a punch to my stomach. I actually gasped for air (I really did no lie) when I saw this, I was just taken back from the overall image of it. It is as powerful as the moments I have when I read strong boxing manga, as I explained earlier.
I'm really happy to see you enjoyed the lineart to where you wanted to color it Sky. Interesting to see Ashiri come to life now....for a second though...cuz you know she and I hate each other's guts. lol But I really like the project here, and I'd be happy to do another collab with you in the near future.
