well,no wonder he's not good at this, his sword is pretty shitty, the grip is too thin and the blade is too wide,it's gonna break the first time he uses, want a real sword?
i would suggest a standard greatsword, but for a guy of his size a ginsu 2000 must do it,come over to my store later,it's a wooden cabin inside a cave under a broken bridge, not very hard to find.
(no refounds btw)
seriously, nice work here,i don't usually see many sculptures but this one is really good

Idea: Funny! Who'd hire a goblin for fighting work? They're more the sneaky type, no?
Execution: Lovely with all those little details!
Overall: made me smile. Which normally is a sign for a good work.

Hi!
I started out making the armature from aluminium wire and then bulking out and making the basic shape from sculpey.
Once I had his body made I cooked him and set about making the armour separately, again using sculpey. Once cooked I carved it to get the sharp edges I was looking for and glued it in place. The breastplate and shoulder pads were made in several pieces and fastened together with some leather scraps and can be removed as required.
The whole model was then primed black and using a mixture of cheap wargaming acrylics painted, inked and drybrushed until I got the finish I was looking for!
All the best!

Hi!
Thanks for the comments!
Alas I am a bit cautious of letting anyone sculpt my stuff in 3d as I had a bad experience with it in the past.
If you need any concepts please feel free to message me though!
All the best!

Awesome! How are u doing those statues? I guess they have a wire sceletons , but what is the matterial u use? Do u bake it afterwards and so on? Ty

Hi!
Depending on the complexity I will start with a wire armature and build over the top of them with Sculpey, Kneadite Greenstuff or procreate putty.
I then bake them (usually in sections) and work on top of them with more sculpey or putty. Sometimes this leads to cracking but with a little care it usually works out alright.
With the goblin I actually made all his armour separate by forming it out of sculpey and then cooking before carving it to get sharp edges (I find the darker colours, especially red and purple are good for this as they are firmer)
It is then fastened together with some small leather straps and can be removed as required!
All the best!

Hi!
It might be worth picking up a pack of plastecine to begin with. Its what I started with and is handy for getting the hang of sculpting.
Otherwise theres the small packs of sculpey and fimo which are relatively cheap. Both have different qualities, sculpey is generally softer while fimo is a bit more plasticy. Theres also the big packs of terracotta and white sculpey, my girlfriend uses them with great success and they are quite reasonably priced.
Hope thats of some sort of help! I found that by just playing around with the stuff was a good way to start out!
All the best!
