Inspired by my favorite part of Viva La Vida by Coldplay. I like how the leaves add not only the feeling of wind, but the mood of being callously swept out the door. I also like black flames in any form!It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become

P.S. Did anybody else know that the lyrics go "It was THE wicked and wild wind"? Until I looked it up today, I always thought the lyrics were "A wicked and wild wind".
P.P.S. Does "the sound of drums" phrase make anybody else immediately think of the Doctor Who episode? (dadadada dadadada)

Win...hmm, what if it was meant to be both? I think that's how I'd write it if I wrote the song. A wicked and wild win allowed this king to come into power. It was if a huge gust of wind blew down the doors. I like the symbolism.

Yeah. When I hear "Wicked and Wild win" I think that perhaps the kind played dirty in order to win, and that his people were then astounded at how he had acted, hence the comment about "People couldn't believe what I'd become". It almost sounds like the start of the revolution the song talks about.

It's actually glass. I'm amazed that my glass cabochons look so much like semiprecious stones. (The opaque black one looks exactly like jet or obsidian)
