Today I made this fanart after learning that they will make a new film of The Lion King in CGI.I'm really curious, and you? Are you happy about the new movie or not?

I say that this is something of a miracle, as it is when it is familiar from childhood. Cute and gorgeous. At least the colors are gorgeous and style. I'm familiar with and familiar with them under 7 years. There are also other miracles, and one hits like this, and I know what I have studied. Simba is partly inspired by Bamboo and partly by Prince Hamlet, which is quite legal like a Scrooge McDuck, his inspiration was Ebenezer Scrooge, What Carl Barks did. Awesome styles and music also what I know and plot what has become a hit. What I understand and my mom too. The plot is kind of what adults can understand, even if it had been born like my mother in 1968, but still easy for adults to be able to understand.

Beautiful work!
A few things I like the most about this (or appreciate the most) are the rock that the young lion (I'm assuming Simba, it looks just like him) is standing on, the painted texture of the background, and the light that is shining down lightly, casting a soft glow. The color choices are perfect, with warm tones that make it feel like early morning or near dusk. The texture of the rock Simba is standing on looks amazingly done, with a great mix of highlights and shadows to give it a realistic look. The clouds as well look beautiful, and I like how they slowly shift into a pinkish hue as they get closer to the horizon.
The style you drew him in is practically identical to the movie style, something that I really appreciate. It's very difficult to replicate a style exactly, and you've pulled it off very well. I enjoy the soft blended shading that you added, different from the blunt shading of the movie. It makes it less edgy and a bit more realistic.
I do love the angle, however I am curious if you were trying to portray him on Pride Rock or just on a high, flat stone. I'm also curious as to why you chose a solid shadow beneath him instead of blending like you drew on Simba, it feels a bit odd to me.
Overall, this is definitely one of the best pieces of Lion King fanart I've seen, you've definitely shown Simba's curiosity and simply aced the background design and color, yet kept it simple enough to the eyes for a pleasant feel. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

I'm happy with any new news about TLK, I was happy about Lion Guard even though its a super weird show in terms of ruining original characters and universe, but I shut up and watch it because I have no choice anyway. Now I am of course very interested in the TLK remake, but I really didn't like the way they did the Jungle book, it was too serious, too dark, without slightest irony and humor, it was so strange because original cartoon was a lighthearted comedy. Yet still Russian cartoon Mowgli is more adult and cool than Disney tried to make.

Truth to be told in a bit anxious about this new movie D: I really hope Favreau won't change too many things.. The jungle book was very very different from the original, and it is true that Favreau also made Iron Man ( which is one of my favourite movies,no shame about that

I'm not excited about this. I mean, I can understand because of the success of the recent Jungle Book with the tech they can do now. But, I just can't see it as a live action movie. Since there are no human characters in it to give it a live action feel.
