Description
One of the last weekends we've made a trip to the Achensee, some 50km from Innsbruck.

it's one of the coldest lakes here in Austria, but at the same time one of the lakes with the best water quality you'll find in Austria and its neighboring countries.

for the photo i was standing on a small pier at the beach in Maurach, at the southern end of the lake. so here we are looking north towards Germany (behind the mountains in the far back).
