yeah, I agree, I just wasn't motivated enough to do that at the time. I think it would have been better with another flower or two as well.

It's different from your other pictures, but it's still very cool. I like the detail in this pic, like the veins in the pettals and the detail on the leaves and ... pretty much everything about this picture.

the quality of this pencil sketch is really lovely.....my mum actually wanted me to print off one for her bedroom wall.....
she loves clematis and has about 10 varieties in her garden

your florals are every bit as breath taking as your more abstract works. I'm fairly certain you get more comments on your abstract work...but your florals truly are breathtaking. Kudos. With pencil you yet again render absolutely amazing images.

~_^ heh...you've got amazing talent. Showing off these florals gives your viewers an idication of just how far your talent reaches. You know? some artists...only put up one sort of work...like...the comic book artist folks who only put up pinup after pinup after pinup. There's more to comic book art than just pinups...let me see layouts...let me see lettering...let me see portraiture....

You...color these amazing abstract pictures...then pull out of your hat florals that I would be proud to have framed and matted in my living room (I'd be proud to have the abstracts TOO mind!). Exquisite color work...truly. It's a real pleasure to see an artist with variety in their chosen medium. You accomplish this well...


...have you tried any figure drawing or portraiture? I'd love to see what your pencils rendered with those....
