This must have been rather interesting, dealing with a monochromatic approach for dueling sides of the page. Very interesting, and you pulled it off magnificently as always. The intensity of the waves especially catches my eye. Man, you give it your all...your entire ace game...every time you upload something new in this series.Well done.

The waves took me a real long time... tbh the background ALWAYS takes me the longest. This one was really complex in the background because I wanted to give the waves as much detail as possible! I originally thought it was going to have a sunrise color palette, which could of been very cool on the waves. I'm okay with the light blue too though! I've never drawn waves, I think it turned out good, probably my best page coloring yet! I'm glad you like it and can appreciate it even though you don't follow the series! Thanks again!

Yeah, I can't imagine what your patience level must tolerate, if this is yet another installment in that amazing lineup you've already completed thus far. I tend to stray away from scenery-type backgrounds these days because they just take up too much time for me to deal with them. The DKR tribute you saw earlier this year, and maybe the AC:NL one if you saw that too, are about as recently as I've toyed with backgrounds these days of that nature. Nowadays I usually just do something abstract to fill the void up. I can never seem to just upload a completed character render on a transparent background. xPI tried watching a Bob Ross episode of "The Joy of Painting" to try to learn how to draw waves and he just...wow. Blew my mind out of the water. He made it look so easy and yet....it's actually really, really hard. x.xYou certainly are getting more and more impressive each time I see you. Any time!

I watched the video you're talking about! In general painting blows my mind because I suck at it lol. When I see someone creating something like a wave with paint It's so cool. Its interesting seeing how it comes about... makes it not look as hard. But of course the guy is just making it look easier than it is haha. Waves were fun to do in photoshop, lots of mixing of white and blue. Highlights make all the difference. Thanks again for the comments! Always nice to read your opinion.

Believe me, I'm not that great at it myself..pretty much. xD And true that, it's just crazy how some people can work things to their advantage while others aren't always so fortunate, hah. Highlights always do make a difference, so it seems. Hence why I try to add them myself here and there in my own artwork aside from just shadows. My pleasure, dude, as always.
