That is true that owls leave their nest earlier that a hawk or an eagles. However owls look so mysteious and mejestic when they grow up.
That picture is really good. The eyes of the gryphon are pretty, and the fogin the background makes the mood of the picture seem a little supsenseful.

Briggen's fluffy owl face is adorable, even if he does look seriously intent on completing his task (nice job putting emotion into the bird face without anthropomorphizing much at all). I also like how you've incorporated owl biology into his story; even though he's a gryphon, I prefer gryphons that behave a little bit like you would expect from their bird half.

Teehee, thanks :3 Baby owls are so funny looking. It's like they want to look dignified and solemn, but their fluff renders it impossible.
I think he's also going to fight like an owl. Flip onto his back, hide his feet in his chest fluff, and lash out with his talons like a ninja when the enemy gets too close.
