This reminds me of a story I read to long ago..about a town called Omelos..It's also interesting that the two weights resemble cherry bombs.

I like the high contrast. I use that alot myself for dramatic tension in my drawings. Do you like it the way it is in your pieces or do you think there's room to improve? I'm wondering because I never feel like I get good control over my contrast.

I always feel there is room to improve. I could've used a different kind of paper...did some studies of some of the drawings...I could have even chosen different materials to use. Its all about how you approach it, really. :3

I really enjoy/relate to this picture. In the sense I can feel the mood and weight of the picture. I really dig the shading, also I really like your darker art.
When you do them they've got a lot of raw emotion, which is neat to see. In any case I've rambled a bit too much but again I really like this!
