Description Now we come to one of my real passions, the art of jewelry and design. This was my very first pendant and the one piece that began a journey that I am still on. Currently I am a BFA with a concentration in Jewelry and Metal smithing because of this piece.

The piece is smithed out of 14 guage brass and 18 gauge copper sheet. I then cut out the openings on the side of the brass form and used one of the scraps to add the bale to the top. After shaping with files and sandpaper, I finished forming the copper around the brass form, finally riveting them together with brass rod.

Fantastic, love the protective/prosthetic feel to this. Like a leather harness for an exposed ribcage...

Very original design.
And for what I see, seems technically well done
go ahead!

Thank you, Originally it was very highly polished, but as I wore it, as I do all my pendents for a time, I grew fond of the worn and imperfect look. So I guess you could say the this has been a continuing project.
