Let me begin by saying that I've never played World of Warcraft, so forgive me for my ignorance but I finally made my first human figurine, so I'm super proud!!! It has been my goal and fear for a couple of years now, so I can finally say that I made one and I'll be making more it was quite the experience!

It looks kinda shiny, I don't remember that it was so shiny so I think it was the photos... these were the first photos taken at my new home, so I wasn't used to the new light settings back then.

This was a commission from dear Beltaneh , she wanted a 3 cm (a bit over an inch) miniature of her friend's character, this was the reference she gave me. There's a million details in the armor and I tried to sculpt them all! It was my first time sculpting a face, it was a great learning experience. The figurine was sculptured in full 3D, the armor and hair continue on the back and it can stand on its own. The shoulder plates were specially confusing, I couldn't figure out how the hell they worked so I had to look for more references and try to make some sense out of the design XD

When she received the dwarf, she made a beautiful scarf for her friend and added the dwarf to it. She was kind enough to post the finished product in my FB account, so you can see it here! I loved to be part of her gift and such a beautiful collaboration

I made this back in December, right in the middle of the moving process to our new home. There's a sort of funny story behind it... I began by making the legs, while we were packing I misplaced it. I started looking for it and frenetically asking Oka "where's my legs!!!! have you seen my legs??? I can't find my legs!!!" which confused him greatly XD he must have thought I was insane! We laughed a lot after I explained what I meant by my legs, and all the time I kept referring to it as "my legs", even after it was finished. We had so much fun

Technical stuff: Handmade out of polymer clay by me, without the use of molds, premades or cutters. I used polymer clay for most of the colors, some details were painted with acyrlic paints and I also used mica powder for some metallic effects.
