Fail hair D:Well, as I said earlier in the week, I would be posting some Final Fantasy XIII art.. and it took me forever to get around to finishing it haha.
I originally started this as a sketch on Monday, and from then I got bored of mucking around with the lineart (I know it's easy, it just takes foreeeever) and then started chipping away at the colouring last night and tonight. I think I spent roughly 4 hours or more in total on this haha.
Also, I felt like testing out my background skills with the airbrush tool. It didn't work that well haha... There is also the white bar at the bottom because, as you can see, I made the lineart end in different places, which is sort of silly. It would have looked alright if there was no background, but all well.
The only problem I have is the hair on the left side. Just above her fringe and the area around it looks so blank and empty
.. I tried fixing it, but to no avail. But other than that, I like how it turned out 
Used SAI (Cropped in Photoshop, since I don't know if there is a crop tool in SAI D

Now here's the FFXIII work. Not bad. It does have its fair share of problems, but artists look for ways to fix or minimize them.
Lightning turned out just fine.
