Wow, this was almost the death of me. I haven’t done a fully colored dragon like, maybe ever??? Idk??? And especially not digitally. In December, I did a month-long challenge of dragon designs, so I adapted one of those sketches as a “base” for this one.

I told myself it would be better, faster, nicer-looking to just do it digitally…yeah no. This took WAYYYY too long and I’m honestly wondering if I should have just done it traditionally cause it probably honestly would’ve been faster. I am still SO uncomfortable with digital drawing, it just doesn’t feel right.
And tell me why I always figure out what on earth I’m doing and get a good technique…after I’m almost done!! Ugh. Anyway, I did get on a roll with this after like FIFTEEN hours (definitely not that long but it sure felt like it) and I did end up being really happy with it.

kogakrimint here it is! This did kinda stray from my original idea and branched into 2 separate design ideas…I probably will do the other one too but considering this one took 3 weeks I doubt I’ll have it done it time for the contest but time will tell…
