For my wonderful sisterShe loves Guts. Like, a lot. And I love Griffith, like, a lot, so I added him in for funsies.
But I kept telling her I would draw him for her, but ... he's so flippin' intimidating to draw. Luckily, she helped me out a lot with getting his shapes down right.
There's so much symbolism in this picture, I don't even-
However, if you don't know the story of Berserk, it won't do any good explaining it anyway, ahaa~

Awww, thank you so much! β₯ After a year, this is still one of the pieces I'm most proud of, so to know people are still enjoying it makes me truly happy.
And definitely! I'm planning on getting a new tablet here soon, since my older one is on the fritz, and I'll definitely be doing more Berserk related pieces. It's such an underrated series, but one of my favorites.

Berserk is definitely underrated - I don't know why. Maybe because it set in quite a harsh world? That's why I was thrilled when I saw your piece - it captured the other side of the Berserk world, the character interaction that makes the series so strong.

You're the first one to mention the feathers, hahaa~ And, you know, I sat there with the rest of the picture completed thinking, "This NEEDS feathers. But damn it, I don't know how to draw them."
So this was, really, an experiment to see if they'd come out! XD
Basically, I drew the shape of the feather, colored it in with a solid white-ish color, added in some other lighter colors to give it depth, and then erased the edges to make them feathery looking. I'm glad to know you thought it was successful!
