After a whole lot of quite shity paintings finally one I feel a bit better about. Took me rediculously long to do it but wheeey I learned a lot.I recently listened to one great audiobook of Melville's "Moby Dick" and that thing totally struck me down again. Well there he is - good ol' Ahab.

A fabulous, dynamic piece of work here! The rough-hewn quality the 'brush" work gives a rustic feeling that is perfect for the subject. This is beautifully composed and a great portrayal of a classic character.
