Thank you XDD And I used to work in the fish/birds/reptile department >_> I wanted an excuse to draw aquarium fesh. ...mostly fesh anyway. XDD

You're welcome! Ohh, did you get to handle them?? I'd love to work at a pet store--mainly to interact with the animals (CATS) and possibly hold a snake--but the task of cleaning dirty enclosures doesn't sound very appealing. lol
Someone weave him a seaweed shirt!

Oh yes XD I had to be the bad guy in some cases. >> Clipping wings is not fun. The birds were understandably upset but we don't want budgies getting out into the streets and getting hurt. ;3; Guinea Pigs are also mean- and...Hamsters eat eachother. XD I have STORIES.
LOL! Yes please XD

Oh no! But that does make sense; it would also be pretty bad if the store was accidentally loosing birds into the facilities--wouldn't want to get pooped on while shopping! And here I thought Guinea Pigs were soft, friendly puff balls! My friend told me how her hamster had babies and then it turned around and started eating them before she intervened. D:

Sadly it happens. XD; It's also so they can adapt to their new habitat when they go home with their new family. A lot of times a bird will book it out the cage and try to escape. This...prevents that >_> It keeps them out of trouble but I still hated doing that. XD;
Oh man no! They were little terrors. XD; Though they would squeal in delight when it was time for their oranges.
Oh yeah Hamsters are pretty horrible ._. Precious things but they get sick so much and they...will eat eachother. XD; They can't live in the same cage. The ones in stores are young litter mates but if you change their environment they'll go nuts and eat eachother.

Yeah, that would stink if you got home and went to put the bird in it's new cage and it escaped! I'm always impressed by the people who can train their birds to sit on their shoulder and let them have free rein of the house.
The same friend with the cannibalistic hamsters had a guinea pig that her cat was absolutely scared of. Now I know why (sort of, haha)!
That's crazy! I thought it was strange that the mother would even decide to eat her young like that. O_o Makes me think of how when my dad was young him and his brother had a pair of Angelfish and one ate the other gradually over a week. XP

Yup! XD And it would be bad for the bird. >_>; I guess in France they have a budgie problem because enough pets got out that they started breeding and taking over the area. XD Attack of the budies!
Oh man ._. Yeah the rodents are not nice! ...cept Chinchillas. *A* I loved cleaning their cages. Soft little bowling balls!
Yeah it was...very odd. c_x; I think it's because if a rodent thinks the babies are in danger they will eat them? Not logical but nature's odd like that XD;

Oh, wow! Back at my college we had a flock of parrots that would fly over the dormpartments every morning. It always sounded horrifying! lol (images of 'The Birds' came to mind)
My sister's first hamster didn't like us that much--he bit anything and everything you put in front of him, fingers included! We had to wear these little wool gloves to handle him because we couldn't feel his teeth through them. xD I've always wanted to hold a chinchilla! They look so cute, like rabbits with long tails!
Yeah, after you mentioned the hamsters I looked it up and apparently it's to make sure predators don't find the nest in the wild if the baby is stillborn, but it still doesn't make sense why they'd do that if the babies are perfectly healthy!

Oh man XDDD It must have been pretty though! I love exotic birds. >>;; ...most birds really. Minus starlings. XD
Oh yeah XD You gotta learn how to scruff the little monsters if you want to move them out of the cage to give it a good clean. >_> I always felt bad, their little food pouches would get emptied out and they'd sit there with their little mouths hanging open. It never hurt them but they lost all that corn XDD
Omg they're /so/ soft. You can't believe how soft they are until you pet one. XD
<<; ..hamsters aren't smart animals sadly XD

Funny thing is I never saw them...I just heard screeching overhead... Are starlings those birds that fly in huge flocks and just circle buildings for no foreseeable reason??
Haha! Aww! I think that happened a few times with our second hamster. He was nicer but when you went to pick him up sometimes all this food would come out of his face! XD
UGH Now I REALLY want to pet one!!!

Oh man yeah >> It's like the birds all over again! RUN. XDD
Starlings are the little monsters that lay their eggs in other bird nests, kick out one of the eggs, and then their babies hatch and kill the other naturalborn babies in the nest. >_> Monster birds. They're an invasive species.
XDDD I love when that happens. "HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE IN THERE?!"
