Troka and Faolan have made a few stops by Faolan's home court and Troka, sadly, was a fish out of water. Faolan spent decades living a life of refinement and poise, knowing every step to every court's waltz, knowing how to hold herself and communicate even the simplest message with something as subtle as how she folded her napkin across her lap. It's a world that Troka had seen from a distance but kept himself away from. His marriage was a political one to start, but it forced him to learn how to interact with his wife's domain. Slowly, the two began to sponge off one another. Faolan participated in her first battle and Troka learned how to waltz. Their relationship is still rough around the edges but both have developed sincere devotion to the other. I had to capture a rare moment where Troka lets his guard down enough to smile.
