Art Trade withok..People, watchers, stalkers, Angie, I'd just like to say I probably put my limit into this drawing just to see if i can get the painting style...and this trade. If not my limit then about 90+ percent of what I've ever used in photoshop (cs5).
took 3 hours to do the background.
2 hours to think of the sketch and poses.<-that is bad
4 hours for the rest and details.
so about 9-10 hours
aye... took up my whole day... and now it's 2:44 and I'm just now posting this.
I can say the highlights were adding the fur, shine, and getting to use texture overlays.

Team HydroFlame is doing/having a presumably beginner lesson/mission about finding specific items with Haruko.
When Angie and Stuart of team Moonlighters come along asking if they have seen something they have lost... Which is a team member of theirs.
Totally un-canon and was an excuse to place these 5 fun to draw characters in a forest together. :3.
Hope you look past the flaws all enjoy this~ X3;

In terms of time allotment for things, you have to remember some painters can take DAYS making a painting. So for the time you spent this is pretty damn awesome!
I'm actually REALLY surprised how well you made the backgrounds come out. I'm really jealous here, not even kidding! Gotta try doing that more often...

oh o3o... well I do try to be fast, but the thing was I had a ref and the time and focus and then upmost recently the textures to give details :b, forestry backgrounds aren't too hard, as you can see i've eliminated the little leaves and branches... for the most part.

now that i read it correctly i can see that means something. just as much as how you're actually commenting since that's rare now. means i've done good

I think my favorite pieces are the background and everyone's expressions. The background lights up the scene like the sun would in a forest, and I'm actually reminded of last nights sunset outside my house when I look at it. I really like it! ^___^

Well, like I said, the expressions are great too. I enjoy seeing diversity in expressions; Stuart is cocky, Markie is excited, Topaz is pensive, etc. In general the most eye-catching is the brilliance of the sun in the trees, but if you look at the finer details it's a gem encrusted...with...gems. (-5 analogy points)

man I need to practice backgrounds, They take up so much unneccesary time; It's like the time it takes for coloring and shading combined are reversed with how long it takes for the background. XD
but I tried harder so...
those textures, lot's of stamp spam on dat, and pretty much the foreground.
