Im just wondering; what are your thoughts on the limitations/capabilities of genetic modification?

Im working out my own plot at the moment, for a pmd story, and genetic modification is a huge part of it. It would be great to have the opinion about the matter from someone who has already put thought into it.

Anyway, I hope you do come back to deviant art down the line, im sad I only caught yah after you left.

Hmmnh...I spose I'll need something a bit more specific!
I think they can be good for a story and structuring around the politics of! Beta didn't really so much, aside from alluding to the conflict of non-trygon and the trygon. (I'm terribly keen on direct political talk in fiction, haha) Of course, be careful with it! Maybe give it a downside (like in beta, pokemon lose their memory for the most part) or maybe that they don't live as long, or that they have a weaker immune system- some sort of defect could be interesting. Of course, jsut my suggestions when handling it!

Part of my plot is that modified entities can grow to be more hostile, leading to a company/faction declaring war on everyone whos modified.

(Modified creatures roam free in the world.)

Well... Doing some drawings for my Pokémon Tabletop RPG project, recently done a Charizard seen from the front and it was a HELL to draw. And even with that I'm not feeling entirely satisfied but I don't see what I've done wrong. I think I will post the drawing one day on deviant ART like some others I did for the same project.
