So expect like DBZ fanart out the ass.Been wanting to draw this since I saw the Battle of the Gods movie at the beginning of August.
And me and my Roomate have been watching the entire original series for a while now (On the Buu Arc currently. Vegeto just got ingested by Buu xD)
AND I JUST WANTED TO SHOW MY LOVE FOR VEGETA BECAUSE I LOVED THIS PART CAUSE I'M A HUGE DORK.
the hardest part of this was probably drawing Vegeta's butt. I think ti still looks off but oh well.

hehe indeed! It's still pretty awesome. To me, at least xD I mean you sort of overlook all the cliche's, and all the plot points like "WHY DONT THEY JSUT USE THE DRAGONBALLS TO WISH GOKU WAS IMMORTAL SO HE CAN KILL EVERYTHING. OR JUST WISH THE BAD GUY WAS DEAD."
The Dragon Balls were definitely relevant in the original DB, but in Z they just sort of became a plot device to make shit happen because they could. OH WELL. I JSUT... I JUST REALLY LIKE DBZ. /imjustadork

Yeah, I just kinda watched it with my roommate when we were both bored and were breeding Pokemon xD So we've been shipping away at it over the months and finally have almost finished it and Now I'm sad.... It's definitely a time investment tho. and tbh the buu arc is kind of bullshit because apparently they could have killed buu like 50 times but didn't because... i don't know saiyans are fuckign stupid and were holding off to let the other saiyans try or something. Plot devices I DON'T KNOW. TORIYAMA NEEDED TO PUMP OUT MORE CHAPTERS FOR JUMP OR SOMETHING.

Vegeta was always the coolest to me, and then Piccolo because I always thought it was rad how he shot the special beam cannon out of only two fingers while everybody else had to use their whole hand. I also always liked Perfect Cell because I dunno, I like villains I guess.
AND I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, SUPER BUU IS WAY BETTER THAN KID BUU
I think you did really good overall. I find DBZ fanart really fascinating because it's like split into the two camps of trying to emulate Toriyama's style, which is really hard to do, and people doing their own thing, and I always find that when people do their own thing it looks way more visually striking for some reason. I DUNNO.
I've watched it over a whole bunch of times already too, so I'm not really in a huge rush to watch it again. I'm pretty sure that was the first cartoon I ever saw on TV where the characters actually killed each other. And I kinda like the buu arc only because it has some really really good fights in it

Yeah Piccolo is a Baus too. I actually think hes up there as one of my favorite character because he's pretty much the best 'Dad' in the entire series. Goku's character was seriously ruined for me a bit because of how shitty of a father he was in reality.
So yeah. Piccolo gets Family Points.

I think the first time I ever Saw DBZ Fanart that worked really nicely with the artist's Style was This Fantastic person , who also did a bunch of other wonderful art and character lineups that were just full of so much energy and awesome design I just felt so inspired xDΒ

The Buu arc was good, but it had too much, 'I COULD HAVE BEATEN BUU 3 EPISODES AGO, BUT I HELD BACK CAUSE I WANTED YOU TO TRY, BUT OH FUCK NOW BUU IS UNSTOPPABLE. DANG THAT WAS TOTALLY AVOIDABLE BUT OH WELL." bullshit going on. EVEN FOR DBZ. YANNO. AND THEN WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH SS3? THEY DIDN'T EVEN NEED IT BECAUSE, SPOILERS, THEY BEAT BUU WITH A TECHNIQUE GOKU COULD USE IN THE FREEZA ARC. SUEPR SAIYAN 3 WAS REDUNDANT. NOT NEEDED AT ALL. UGHGHGHGHGH. And not to mentioned it was achieved entirely off-screen. Juuuust like instant transmission and the fusion dance.
but yes. it was still pretty good because Vegeto, mang! AND LET'S NOT FORGET RUNNING AROUND IN BUU'S Β 100% ANATOMICALLY CORRECT BOWELS AND ALMOST GETTING SHIT OUT. HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON FOR ME TBH.
