This is my February 2nd sketch for the daily sketch over at Satellite Soda. She's a lounge singer ...and exotic dancer? Haha whatever. Ink and photoshop.

Lines are lovely! I could tell it was ink right away! Used india ink for the first time in my life a couple months ago in my Drawing class. Nude model. Very tricky.

the mere fact that this wondrous illustration has actually just taken me there to a happening place on whatever boulevard, is a commendation of the skill and attention to detail, excellent use of stroke and line, and powerful use of shading and subtle highlights to carve this striking beauty from the page... those beautiful facial bones.... 'GAWD!'...
