It's that time again! A new Kirby game means a new celebratory illustration!I wanted to use a greater sense of atmosphere and ambient light for this one, something I've been delving deeper into recently. With the aesthetics of Triple Deluxe being so gorgeous and vibrant, focusing on colors was an important factor as well. The background was even inspired by rainbow sherbet, heh.
A lot of times as I was rendering this I felt as if the composition was too busy with stuff going on, but overall I think it turned out really nice! I'm very pleased with the final outcome~
