I absolutely love the innocently-looking male cat sitting on the sofa. I know he's nobody and you won't do anything with him but everyone else looks in control and dark and then you look at him and wonder "How'd you end up here, son?" His eyes are so wide and curious about mordicai being there...and yet he might be just as dangerous as the rest.

I read this in an awesome cajun accent in my head that I know for damn sure I can not reproduce with my vocal cords. Someone who actually has a cajun accent and a smoky voice. Record yourself saying all this. My ear holes need it.

The drawing of the bayou is gorgeous! And the 'gator reminds me of the albino alligator they had at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for a short time, on loan from some other zoo. He was really pretty.

...I would like to propose that her hair has never grown since she was a child. The length it's at now? It's the exact same length as in the flashbacks, and the rest of her just grew into it, like people grow into hats that are too big for them as kids.
Also, Mordecai needs to totally respect the deities of other cultures, because lack of belief does not keep them from messing with you. At least if you're polite, it won't be malicious.
