Description I lost a dear and very close friend here.
DA will never be quite the same with him gone.
I'm sadden to tears for him, his family, you and me

This was written by his brother

"This is Simon, Mark's brother, with the terribly sad news that Mark passed away last week.
This was a huge shock to us all.
I helped him set up his PC with all his drawing tools so knew how much he adored producing his bespoke digital artwork and how much the Deviant art community meant to him.
On his behalf I'd like to thank you all for the friendship and support you've shown and would ask you to pause for a minute at 14:20 on Monday 1st October.

So sweet and kind are your words, Ans...he was special and surely is missed by all who knew him and his art. I think of him from time to time and I just get sad that he's gone.

I'm saddened by this news Richard. I didn't know him or his work, but I'm sure he was a great guy to know if you knew him. It's sad to loose someone from our DA community. My heart goes out to you, and Marks family. This is a lovely and thoughtful tribute.

He was prolific in his fractal work. Four a day for the three years I knew him and boy those foxes he loved dearly. He is loved by all who knew him...such a peaceful fella. Never a harsh word and always positive and encouraging to all who crossed his path.
Must be true what they say that only the good die young.

I'm not really sure Nataly. I didn't want to ask his brother and he would be the only one to know. I didn't think it was right to ask him at this time. I think maybe a heart attack. I hope nothing more traumatic than that. But I really have no clue. God forbid and auto accident or something.
He never said he was sick or anything. Seemed to me that he was healthy mentally and physically. Loved being here with his art and ours and loved that family of fox in his backyard garden. Just sad. He was here and now he's gone
