This is my first official contribution to the vast collection of Kylo Ren art out there- and it's likely it won't be the last This piece was only meant to be a practice on painting skin, but I surprised myself and thought it deserved to be made into something more. Actually, this is part of the reason I'm here in the first place: this is THE painting that restored my faith in myself as a digital artist and I haven't looked back since (that was four months ago).

To everyone feeling like their progress/skills have plateaued: Don't give up!! The moment of breakthrough may come when you least expect it. Prior to this one I didn't have a single digital portrait I was happy with. Just keep on painting what inspires you and what you love, and don't skimp on the references- the difference it makes on your art may be huge. As in my case
