Description
Nynaeve al'Meara from Robert Jordan's series The Wheel of Time. Robert Jordan's death made me very very sad, especially since the last book in the series was due to come out in 2009. So many ends left untied! It eats my heart up with mystery.I've never been able to capture Nynaeve the way I've imagined her, although this rendition does come close. Her hair should be a little darker.
Colored pencil, tweaked by an auto contrast in Photoshop (made the colors look MUCH more solid)

I think this is an awesome drawing and it really shows Nynaeve, especially how she seems to be in the last few books. She seems.... 'tamed' xD
And delightful news; a writer called Brandon Sanderson (or something) is going to write Memory of Light, the last book.

I'm not sure how much I like Nynaeve tamed, since it does seem people have gotten the better of her, but she is maturing as an Aes Sedai, so I guess it doesn't mean she's been defeated. She was my favorite for her temper, though.
As soon as my sister heard Brandon Sanderson was writing the last book, she bought two of his books to see if his writing was any good, and she's given her approval; since she's a pretty harsh critic, I trust that Memory of Light is in good hands.

I agree, I have a roleplay character that was based on her temper, I really enjoyed playing her.
I've also read Sanderson's "Warbreaker", which can be found online on his website. I thought that one was a bit avarage, but I've heard his "Mistborn" books are really awesome. We'll see what time bring!

Well I cheated a little because I let Photoshop do an auto contrast and it made all the difference (intensified the colors, you see...)

First of all, I LOVE your Nynaeve! Absolutely Beautiful and secondly... last I heard he made sure hi wife had the entire storyline so the last book will still be writen and come out it'll just be ghost writen, which of course is still very sad.

Thank you for the compliments. About Jordan's death, what I heard was that he only disclosed some things to his family, but not all, since there was a vast amount of stuff he needed to conclude, but people have been telling me that someone is going to finish it, which makes me a little happier.
