beautifully done! @LeeTiram or Sekhmets-child: could one of you please explain what you mean about drawing white & not using a contour? should she not have outlined the paws? i'm also teaching myself & would love some insight on that! thank you

You've done a really good job with the fur. I agree with LeeTiram about the outlines, but you wouldn't be expected to know that, that only comes with experience. You have really captured Nukos expression and there is life in his eyes. Well done.

I think that all artists , no matter what their skill level, feel that they could always improve. But you have really captured the flow of the fur and there is a very believable growth pattern to it. It IS well done.

Great work on the fur, looks wonderful.
One thing that I learned from my instructor, though: when you draw white, you shouldn't do a contour, it flattens the object. I see that in Nuko's paws. It's not that it doesn't look good, It just could look a whole lot better without it, counting on the shading alone
The shirt looks very good, you captured the feeling of the cloth!
Generally Nuko looks really good, very gentle (in comparison to what society makes us think about rottweilers). Do you have the reference picture? I would love to see it

SORRY?! Who are you saying sorry to? It's a great drawing and I can learn a lot from it myself
We're here to learn from each other and I'm happy to have met you here and see the cool way you've done without anybody to guide you.
I'll be happy to get the photo, I really love dogs!
