I don't think I'd want Tokka to happen on account of Suki breaking up with Sokka because I think it would be really sad. I tend to enjoy the whole unrequited love shipping (which is probably even sadder than the first option, whoops)

Well it has a sceen in part 2 that made me think it will where suki comforts zuko and i don't want that to be the only reason ether but I still want them to happen and if they don't oh well suki's cool.

YESSS in my second head canon he goes to Lin and asks her to teach him metal bending and then after a bit of her spluttering and being all "lolu weakling" he says "Oh by the way, your mum said to say hi" and then Lin freaks out a bit inwardly and decides to take Bolin in as a student and then he leaves after a hard day's practicing and Lin gets a flashback of Toph teaching her metal bending and she wipes away happy tears real quick so no one can see.
I think a lot about these things. I should probably draw it.

Well, after reblogging this via Tumblr, I felt the need to file it into my favorites as well. Because, as you can probably tell, I feel the need to take this headcannon and run with it-for I love it so.
I'm pretty sure Bryke mentioned the possibility of eventual Spirit World shenanigans, so I say: "Why the heck not?"

YES I'M SO HAPPY YOU SAID THAT BIT ABOUT METAL BENDING! It was kind of my headcanon after this particular head canon that Bolin would go off to tell Lin her mum said hi and Lin would be all "Hey kid, wanna learn metal bending and join the police force part-time?"

It's so much fun to discuss headcannons, and despite the dark, glaring corners of this fandom- *ahem* shipping wars- I must say, I love being a part of it.
And the best part is- thar be many a Tumblr artist who shares this glorious headcannon of metalcop!Bolin.When I first saw a post regarding said topic, I paused, and thought: "Wait. Wait... Yus. Yus, I approve of this. You, my fellow avatards, are brilliant!"
And in Season 2... There will be character development!

Oh my god, I think we will ALL flip tables if there is no character development of Bolin. It's kind of part of the reason why I made this comic- because there would be no realistic way a guy could completely fall for a girl and then be over her after one day D<

But although the poor guy was reduced to being more or less a mime up until episode 10 and onward, people have gone back and pointed out a lot of interesting, more subtle things in the animation. I would've appreciated more lines and some actual involvement in the plot per an episode, but whatever.
So basically, upon picking out a bunch of stills, they've noticed several moments of Bolin adorkableness. For instance, the finale hug- it's so cute to see how much he still cares, but at the same time, it's bad for my heart.
(Keep calm, and wait for Season 2!
