I agree with this; as wonderful as it is; the breakage from the blood and the surface which draws the line on the eye looks "off".

Perhaps, if there was blood running from the corner of her eye; as if she's just come up out of the blood, and its running slowly off her face....might work?

However; you have the skill and techniques and eye for blood to know what will, and will not work....I'm no expert...yet

The more I look at it the more I agree. I'm going to try to redo it. The line is there because that's where the water contacts her face.
