I don't believe that it's an Adenium - we call them desert roses here. This one is growing over the back fence, kind of like a vine and it looks more like a Hibiscus than anything else

- rock trumpet (Mandevillea)
- purple allamanda (Allamanda blanchetii)
Mandevillea seems more likely.
