Johnson was a odst and heres a secret about him in the halo book titled the flood u find out he has cancer from a crate of plasma grenades that went of on harvest I think it's been abit since I read the book regardless of guilty spark he was going to die sooner or later bright side is his illness saved him from being infected by flood that infos in the book first strike I think

I READ THAT! It was so cool and yet sad because he was completely immune to being infected by the flood! But I could've swore he was a mark I during the beginning of the war, maybe I read something else, but yeah, also I know some cool stuff about 6 from reach, he was one of the only two Spartans to ever be the deadliest, or something of the rest, the other being chief, and I hope we get to see or hear about Jun in halo 5, at least a cameo would be nice

Your not wrong the mark ones were odst when ONI first began to use bio augmentation later Halsey designed the suit and better operations to make them stronger when she did that the odst and Spartan rivalry was born they hate each other but still work with each other if need be

They're Master Chief's old team, before the events of Halo: CE there were many more Spartan II's who were in squads such as Black Team, Chief and these three make up Blue Team. From the left to right you have Linda, John, Kelly and Fred. After the events of Halo 4 Chief was rejoined with his squad and were sent on various missions, most notable was Ur Didact's survival but Chief defeated him and has been presumed "dead" again but he's been composed. Since Chief disobeyed Lord Hood's order for R&R, Blue team has been out and about and I assume they have joined Chief in going AWOL and now has Agent Locke and his "Head hunter" squad after Blue team. I hope this explains.
