As Kairn wandered through the woods one evening, he caught sight of a sleeping figure nestled in the grass. Approaching cautiously, he soon recognized the form of another deer. With each step, the leaves underfoot rustled, rousing Adustum from his slumber. Adustum awoke, surprised to see Kairn standing nearby, casting a startled look at him.
