ha! loki fanart before i even watched either of the movies. it's a quickie tho, less than an hour, thus the shabby rendering. i just have no time... actually there are a million other deadlines i have to finish and sleep seems so awfully enticing. but nooo, i just had to give in and design something. in my course there's like not even 15% of designing involved. God help me get to second year or i'll dig a hole and rot there.duck shit green, black and gold hornies sound like train wreck to me. this is what happens when you put alexander mcqueen and marvel together.
i usually say somehting deep and meaningful in this part but i honestly have nothing to say...

I totally understand your frustration when you say less than 15% of your course is designing. There's perhaps less painting in my course than 15%. A few coursemates and i began our own little club within the course to paint little things each week to a theme we set ourselves just to keep it up amongst all the work. It's great for practice.

but your course is designing. i mean if it was fine arts then i'd be totes shocked. but then again you do need to paint to generate ideas. what are you guys learning then?

Designing yea, but scenery, we get so much work in so little time that we're encouraged to trace photos/photomanipulate/do overlays e.t.c. ... not really any/much painting at all. Sketching... yea, but not digital/traditional painting- it takes too much time for one thing. (for example, we get three weeks to do a 12 celled storyboard, 4 'visuals' (basically fully coloured, pictures of the scene for the atmosphere,) a few technical drawings (pretty much blueprint like thingies,) among other things and two other modules) phew! it's hectic. yea, we could paint the visuals, but there's not much time, so i'm endlessly trying to develop a way to paint them fast without hating them D=
I am glad we get to design though. How come there's not much designing in your fashion design course? what do you do?

i stopped watching thor cause loki was such a snide wimp in the beginning. lol my inability to relate to him stemmed from the fact that i was a norse mythology fan a looong time ago and loki was meant to be a baddass trickster and i have this loser in the beginning. from what everyone was telling me i should have finished it. haha. and i will.

I've read norse mythology but I don't remember a thing except that in my books loki was a redhead :'D But I love the loki in the films. idk, I don't have a logical reason, but you need to watch it, you are stressed and need distractions!! good luck with the uni o3o
