It also works because Aaron here? He's actually related to Merlin. A descendant of Merlin's father (who was an incubus), but didn't know about it while having a love for stage magic. When he arrives in Grimmwoods, he begins studying the actual art of magic...and, as you can tell, is overjoyed by it. He's a nerd, so this is his ultimate dream.
