Well, perhaps in this case, they are not gone yet.

This is an area that I drive through every few years. It is different from most places here in Manitoba, because a number of people are living simplified lives, some off the grid. There is a feeling of space and seclusion, and a sense that you can be yourself. I suppose I am drawn here for a couple of reasons, one is the scenery, but the other is that a number of other artists live in this area.
