Art trade withArg... I hope you like it. It's so gay looking, with all the purple (sorry!) His hat and pants look more blue in real life, but the scanner doesn't like to pick up blues and greens very much
Anyway, faqy's characters Mikuláš (czech version Nicholas).
He's from little village in mountains and, after studying as a doctor in town, attempted to return home. But he got lost. In the forest. Anyway, he met Smok, a snake king, who thinks Mikuláš is his servant. And in this picture, Smok is saying
"Yes of course, eat it. Yum."
Though I'm not even sure they talk to each other

I actually really like the colour combinations in this, the purples and greens are really beautiful. I also love the scales. Did you use masking fluid for that?

I'm so glad the bunny looks cute. Anyway, for the scales, I painted the base color of the snake and added the scales on top. So no, I didn't use masking fluid because I was stupid and bought the colorless kind so I can't even really see it when I try to apply it. It was tedious, but I spent my time talking to at, like, midnight, to keep distracted. I really have no patience for that kind of thing.

Yeah... patience is a big thing with watercolour. (I always smudge things! T__T ) And faith too O.o I'm always so worried that it looks awful when I'm just starting.

Me too! Watercolor always looks horrid when I first start it out-- just a bundle of bad white and bad base colors. Faith is definitely important. I smudge it a lot, too. I wish I could apply it as precisely as tir-ri. Crugh! *sad sigh*
