I'm so glad the bunny looks cute. Anyway, for the scales, I painted the base color of the snake and added the scales on top. So no, I didn't use masking fluid because I was stupid and bought the colorless kind so I can't even really see it when I try to apply it. It was tedious, but I spent my time talking to at, like, midnight, to keep distracted. I really have no patience for that kind of thing.

Me too! Watercolor always looks horrid when I first start it out-- just a bundle of bad white and bad base colors. Faith is definitely important. I smudge it a lot, too. I wish I could apply it as precisely as tir-ri. Crugh! *sad sigh*
