Description Screenshot from Criminal Minds episode 4x24 "Amplification".

I wasn't happy at all with my first try (now moved to scraps). After all, it was only my second attempt at drawing a realistic portrait in YEARS, and I made it on a damp sketchbook at a bikers festival. So, now that my skill has improved, I decided to draw this frame again. I liked this expression too much to settle for a crappy sketch.
And yet, something in his features still eludes me. Reid's beauty is quite unusual. SO unusual that some people don't see it as beauty AT ALL. Whatever. A lot of people even think that Robert Pattinson is handsome, so I don't really care But believe me, Matthew's eyes and lips are REALLY difficult to capture. On paper. I mean.
