Performance:

October watched as the act before them went on and was amazing, then the lights went low as the arena was prepared for them. Dare Devil had his halter on and his wraps; she held a two-toned lead rope in her hand as the announcer loudly named the next act as theirs. October put on a big smile as the music started and walked out into the spot light with Dare Devil prancing beside her.

They reached the middle of the ring and October cracked the lead rope sending Dare Devil into a stretched out trot around her. After about two laps he slowed his trot as October ran beside him then grabbed a bit of his mane and jumped to his back. She steered him to the middle of the ring as the lights went dim again. She asked him to bend his neck and she leaned forward and clasped the lead rope to the spiked halter.

The spot light quickly came back and shone down on them but only after a pit of flames ignited on the left side of the arena. The light of the fire made Dare Devil's glossy coat shine, and his pale white eyes gleam with a demonic air. October kissed to him and he spun on his haunches before quickly picking up his extended trot, October posted with her thighs. Finally she asked him for a canter, avoiding the fire pit as it grew larger and larger.

Devil finally had a solid gallop going around the ring as October applied pressure with her left foot asking him to head for the flames. He did so happily and took off a bit early. His mane bit October's face; thankfully they had decided to cut a foot of it before the act to avoid a fire hazard. His tail generally didn't catch and luckily tonight it didn't either. After landing the jump he continued the gallop until October asked him for a sliding stop. Which he did....a bit stubbornly but he did it...

The music came to an end and the crowd applauded as Dare Devil bowed with October on his back. She slid down and tied the lead rope around his neck then he trotted out of the ring as the lights went dim again.

~~~The bg really stinks (pastels) and I'm sorry, this was done entirely with sharpies and a white colored pencil.....
