Acrylics on paper. I use the paint with a lot of water! Layer up on layer etc.

It's fun painting like that

but that will make the paper bend, right... not sure now, for when i do my water-colour on paper, it tends to bend

true! But before i paint i make the paper wet and tape in on a wooden plate. When the paper is dry, it is flat again and you can start painting! Be sure to use minimum 200 grams paper (aquarel)

I think you'd enjoy the work of Franz Marc, he was an expressionist around the 20s, mainly worked with bright expressions of colour, colour symbolism, animals etc. His life was cut tragically short in the war, but he left quite an impression on the art world.

His paintings fetch millions of dollars these days. A bit scary really!
