Description
The secondary prizes for the first place winners of my Crackship contest:Riiko96 's Mirari and 0dd-Eye 's Colombe.
These were drawn in my sketchbook and then colored digitally.

Hmm, the best examples I can give from my gallery are Meadow ,Β Alys the Eliatrope , The Duchess ,Β Worship ,Β Nii ,Β Ghost Β andΒ HAH! . Wakfu really overtook everything during the last three years, especially because I tried too hard to adapt to its style, but I'm slowly going back to my own in recent drawings. Colombe's portrait shows it the best though and it isn't even fully there yet. I've grown a bit rusty xD

Well, those are beautiful! Re: Adapting to Wakfu's Style, my god, it's too real. I've never been able to capture Wakfu's aesthetic, but not for lack of trying! Many tears have been shed over that XD
I really love your style. The eyes and lips feel so lush, and there's something almost darkly seductive about it all... I look forward to seeing more!

It's a tough style to adapt too, and not only that, the style itself has also changed over the past three years. I mean... just look atΒ this . This isn't just Yugo growing a little through roughly a decade; it's also a change of softness in the style of Wakfu. It's no longer very angular or blocky, especially in the linework, hands and feet have shrunk a bit for all the characters, limbs are thinner, the details have been further cut down on along with shading. Wakfu's style has been evolving, so adapting to it has been a little tricky.
I'm these days more comfortable with drawing a mix of my own style and the Wakfu style I managed to get a grasp on, for Wakfu related things. The freedom is nice and it's fun to experiment with a balance. Β
