Laura Marling, incredible young british singer/songwriter.
Lyrics are from 'The Captain and the Hourglass', my favourite song of hers at the moment.
The clouds were inspired by the line 'you sit alone under billowing sky'.
2B mechanical pencil for most of it and 8B for the dark bits.
On heavy sketch paper.
Stock used for the clouds ~stock-devil-breath

was that at old trafford cricket ground?!?! i cant remeber if i saw them last year or the year before though. iv also seen them in the MEN in manchester, but that wasnt summer.

pretty sure it was the manchester city football stadium. i remember my friend didn't know the difference between man utd and man city and kept going on about david beckham and christiano renaldo. I was all 'Hello? The GROHL is up there!'

Dave Grohl is one of my gods, Keith Richards is another. Flea is a demi-god and there are quite a few rock n roll cherubs floating about.

i am, and was going to study architecture, only im in liverpool for it now, which is a lot closer to home so makes a bit more sense.
