This sketch was actually made for the AWA that followed the one from the "Future Past" image, but the quality's about par for both so I'm puttin' 'em next to each other.It's the four generals from MMZ. I was in such a rush to do a new fanart, I had to make this the first time ever drawing any of them. It got real tricky when I realized several bits of MMZ concept art actually DIDN'T match up together, and I was drawing more whacked out parts than I wanted with only ten minutes left to draw.
Anyway, much later I did a MMZ piece I was actually proud of, so maybe one day it will be posted. I give props to this one for its quickness though.

I like the shading--it's got a sketchy feel without being messy.

Love it! Then again, I'm kinda also partial to sketches too (a good piece of art doesn't necessarily need color; at least in my opinion iy doesn't)!
And yes, for some reason, the official art doesn't all add up...

Well, concerning Capcom's stuff, it is mostly concept art, so I think the inconsistencies are pretty excusable. It's just not the kind of thing you wanna worry about deciphering on short notice. That said, at the time I drew this, MMZ images on Google were sparse, so it was a real hassle hunting for scans and screenshots outside of trying to play the game again. Ah well...water under the bridge.
