Description Finally...
My poor pencils, one of them didn't make it this time, jammed to death.

Entaros, a planet in another dimension untouched by war, famine, or poverty for thousands of years. Alien forces have made previous attempts to invade this realm, only to be thwarted by the Coalition of Elders. It is said an ancient cosmic power lays dormant here, blessing the inhabitants with eternal longevity.

- Done on 8"x11" sketchbook paper with 0.5mm Bic mechanical pencils.

wow, I came across this in the froum, and I have to say it's amazing! I am a sucker for colorful pics, but this one just stood out to me. I think coloring this one could ruin it. The details are totally amazing. Wow, just wow. OMG! I just noticed that there is a boy sitting in the tree! XD So cool!

hey long time no see or nothing (went to acad with u in first year)
i like this one a lot... the anime kid and the bird, i'm not too crazy about, but the rest of the image is great!
and i wouldn't worry about having lots of things on devart. I've seen how you make these, and your system of rendering is very tedious. the difference between what you do is noticably better than some others.

quality not quantity
besides, if someone goes through your gallery, and sees twelved great images, instead of 20 so-so's, and 5 good ones... i think it would hit them harder as something positive.

Hey Sean, don't worry I know who you are heh (you were the one who showed me this site in the first place).

I've stopped doing pictures with anime characters, done with that experimental phase. I'm now moving back onto a western hybrid style, and I'm trying some surrealism and going to practice photorealistic elements. Finished the outlines for 3 new pieces, just have to shade them in now...ugh, lol.

Anyway nice talking to you again, keep sending in ur photos n' drawings.

i dig the shading. It's a shame that your human forms are stiff in their positioning on most of your work. Try experimenting with some crazy foreshortening of the human form.

Holy freakin' cow. That is awesome!! Seriously that is some real talent. I can't wait to see more. :claps: And only 3,000 pageviews, how strange. I've seen people not nearly as good as you and have tons more. Oh well.

awesome detail!! would probably look a little better if it was darker in areas like under the leaves, etc. to bring it out a litle more. still great though!!

holy crap, this is some of the best traditional art ive ever seen! i can see you becomming very popular with art like this on DA (2000 pageviews in your first month is incredible - ive been here for 10 and have 1900).

i love everything about this picture, from the complexity of it and the background to the tiny detials like the bird on the tree.

this is a def fav for me and its not often i fav traditional art such as this.

keep up the incredible work, you could easily do this as a profession if you wished to (if you dont already!)

Heh, thanks a lot . But...I've actually been here since October 2nd of 2003.... yeah...it can get depressing sometimes when you look at other people who have ten times as much in half the time.
